“It’s delicious!” A foreign visitor highly praised the tea in Chinese after tasting it.
Long Lingzhi is from Niujiaoshan Village. In recent years, the village has vigorously promoted the integrated development of tea and tourism.
In 2023, the tea sales revenue of the village was 160 million yuan, tourism revenue reached 350 million yuan, and the per capita income of the villagers exceeded 28,000 yuan. It also helped over 7,000 households in the surrounding villages to increase income.
Long Lingzhi introduced that there were also several other domestic tea companies participating in the exhibition. Two days before the exhibition, they also visited local brand tea chain stores, tea houses, supermarkets, etc. in the UK, and negotiated cooperation with local tea distributors.
“At present, the per capita tea consumption in the UK is relatively higher compared to that in China, and there are more people here who enjoy organic tea with a pure taste. This is a good opportunity for us, and the key is to determine the market positioning and establish sales channels.”
Long Lingzhi added that after the exhibition, some local tea distributors in the UK will come to China to inspect their company’s tea bases and products. Long Lingzhi will recommend high-quality tea in Xiangxi Prefecture and tell the story of the development of tea.
